Non-Credit Instructor - ECG - EKG Technician

• The Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning Department at Middlesex College invites applications for a part-time, non-credit ECG/EKG Technician instructor during the 2023-2024 Academic Year.
  
  PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILTIES : The ability to teach a full-time, non-credit Electrocardiograph (ECG/EKG) Technician Program which includes the following:
  

• Anatomy, Physiology and Medical Terminology
• Safe and Accurate use of the EKG device, including basic trouble-shooting, and
• Interpretation of EKG rhythms.

The Instructor must be able to maintain discipline and safety in the classroom. In addition, the Instructor must ensure that the facilities are properly maintained and all administrative requirements are completed in a timely manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two or more years of recent experience as a working ECG/EKG or as the clinical supervisor of ECG/EKG Technicians.
• One year of experience teaching adults in the allied health career field.
• Current certification as an ECG/EKG Technician or an otherwise licensed healthcare provider, example: LPN

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to provide remote instruction via Zoom should conditions require
