Job Details

The individual will be responsible for daily operation, organization, administration, general effectiveness, and supervision of transportation technology programs, including but not limited to future program planning, development, and accreditation processes. Position to start as soon as feasible.

Minimum education and experience:

  • Master’s degree in subject appropriate to the division’s disciplines. Three (3) years teaching experience at the undergraduate level. Experience with curriculum development. Knowledge of and participation in external accreditation processes. Experience with course level, program level, and institution-wide assessment practices.

Minimum abilities and skills:

  • Developed supervisory and leadership skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to develop and implement teaching strategies that meet the educational needs of a diverse student body. Sensitivity to expectations of students, faculty, staff, and advisory committee members. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Commitment to and knowledge of vocational and technical education.
