Adjunct Instructor of Computer Information Systems (CIS) - WVU Keyser



West Virginia University's Potomac State College campus, located in Keyser, West Virginia, invites applications for part-time adjunct instructor positions to teach CIS courses, face-to-face and online*.

This position will teach at least one 3-credit hour course and will pay $2,100 per course.

Qualifications :
  • A minimum of a master’s degree in Computer Information Systems from a regionally accredited college or university is required by time of appointment OR a master’s degree in a related field and 18 credit hours of computer information systems and/or work experience in the field.
  • Previous college teaching experience is valued.
  • Successful candidates should demonstrate:

    • An understanding and commitment to utilizing innovative teaching methodologies and systems which actively engage students in the learning process;
    • An understanding and commitment to working with faculty, staff, and students from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
*A minimum of one-year online teaching experience required for online teaching consideration.
