Position Summary
The primary responsibilities include: providing assistance and supervision to a classroom of children; support the planning and implementation of a developmentally appropriate and emergent curriculum; support the assessment of young children; work with a diverse population of children and families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
a) Use developmentally appropriate practices to interact, guide, supervise, and educate young children.
b) Assist in the planning and implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
c) Provide appropriate guidance and ongoing support of student workers.
d) Maintain daily communication and develop professional relationships with a diverse population of parents and staff.
e) Meet all requirements set by Campus Child Care to maintain DCFS licensing, Quality Rating and Improvement System, and NAEYC Accreditation (i.e. First Aid and CPR certification; professional development hours).
