The dynamic team in The Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at Baldwin Wallace University is seeking a new faculty member. The Department is an innovative, vibrant and growing department that is housed within a highly supportive University. Recently over $1.8 million was spent in the renovation and support of the clinical facilities. In addition, over the past several years the Department has been awarded over $330,000 in foundation grants to support the Speech Clinic and its mission.





We are seeking applications for two 12-month renewable term Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor faculty in speech-language pathology. Responsibilities include graduate and undergraduate clinical education, teaching undergraduate courses and graduate clinical practice courses, and applied research in area of interest. We are committed to creating a supportive and challenging academic experience with intentional connections between classroom and clinical learning. The Baldwin Wallace Speech Clinic is a free clinic with up-to-date materials, supplies and equipment. Successful applicants will possess a Masters' degree or clinical doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA CCC-SLP), eligibility for state licensure in Ohio, and previous clinical supervision and teaching experience. Successful applicants must be comfortable supervising the evaluation and treatment of patients across the span. Preference will be given to candidates that have two or more years of clinical supervision experience with student clinicians and have completed two hours of ASHA required supervision continuing education.
