Position Summary

Teach one section of ENGL 1110: Composition I and one section of ENGL 1060: Reading and Writing for Inquiry. Each course is three credit hours at $1,000 per credit hour, for a total of $6,000 for the semester.

Duties and Responsibilities

Teach one section of ENGL 1110: Composition I (3 credits) and one section of ENGL 1060: Reading and Writing for Inquiry (3 credits). Each course is three credit hours at $1,000 per credit hour, for a total of $6,000 for the semester.

Minimum Qualifications

M.A. in English and prior experience teaching composition

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching in the NMHU composition program

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven excellence in teaching; knowledge of pedagogical practices; strong organizational skills
