A.T. Still University's School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA) invites applications for a non-exempt, part-time Project Coordinator on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This position reports to the Assistant Dean of Innovation and Clinical Curriculum, who the project coordinator will support in coordination with the Clinical Sciences Department and others in the development and implementation of curriculum related projects and events.

Major Job Duties:
  • Investigate and secure off-site room bookings for events and lodging
  • Assist faculty and students with the necessary travel arrangements, field questions
  • Data-entry for reimbursement of travel and event invoices
  • Coordinate site-specific logistics
  • Coordinate event scheduling for students; work with RDMEs to optimize participation
  • Coordinate event scheduling for faculty/instructor coverage and support staff
  • Send invites and regular email communications to all parties involved
  • Secure and archive project related data, content, and materials
  • Utilize various software to help build, post, and maintain event related curricular content
  • Assist with purchasing of supplies and equipment
  • Help prepare event space, equipment, and supplies
  • Help organize, maintain, and store curriculum related equipment and supplies
  • Help navigate any COVID specific requirements of participants (ie: communications, testing, PPE)
Skills/Requirements:
  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • 1 to 2 years' related experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic software: Microsoft Office, Google
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, life-long learner with strong communication skills
  • Must be a creative problem solver with patience and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
  • Able to generate ideas, further develop concepts, and manifest results
