Annie Taylor Dee School of Nursing Program Director - Post-Baccalaureate Certificate of Occupational Health Nursing
Weber State University and the University of Utah, jointly through the Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (RMCOEH), are seeking a dynamic Occupational Health Nurse to lead and develop a new occupational health nursing post-baccalaureate certificate program. The position is part of a Utah Legislative initiative to improve worker health in Utah. The program will begin immediately, with plans to matriculate the first students in the fall of 2023. The Program Director will work closely with the Annie Taylor Dee School of Nursing Chair, Faculty, and the Deputy Director of the RMCOEH and will be of particular interest to the Utah Legislature in demonstrating progress and success in helping establish this new program.
The Program Director will work closely with Faculty and Leadership from Weber State University and the University of Utah. The Program Director will help develop and deliver a curriculum in occupational health nursing. Students will complete other specific university courses to achieve the requirements of the post-baccalaureate certificate, generally 18 or more semester hours, including 6 hours specific to occupational health nursing. The Program Director will be the course chair and primary instructor of the occupational health nursing courses, working with other faculty at both institutions to manage student activity in other core and elective courses.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Two years of experience in Occupational Health Nursing
- Active Utah RN license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate Degree in Nursing
- C-OHN certified

The annual salary for this position is $82,000 to $86,000. The position comes with a generous benefits package.
