About the Opportunity

Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Business Process Innovation, Enrollment Systems, the Product Manager, Slate will collaborate with Enrollment Management Leadership to provide leadership, oversight of the day-to-day operations, and support of Slate, the university's comprehensive system for admissions and enrollment management.

The product manager will focus on the core specifications and capabilities of the platform and will play a significant role in setting up and managing the processes and functionality within the university's instance of Slate. Serving on the Slate implementation team, the product manager will work with members of Enrollment Management's graduate and undergraduate admissions teams as well as stakeholders from the university's colleges to implement new enrollment processes to optimize efficiency and the student experience. The product manager will also work to ensure that the university's enrollment technology stack is being leveraged to its fullest capabilities and that Slate is working efficiently with all other university resources including marketing automation platforms, data tools, and custom enrollment tools. The work will include the development of product requirements for both undergraduate and graduate requirements, ensuring that Slate is built to meet all requirements established by all admissions processes.

Once the Slate implementation is complete, the Product Manager, Slate will lead the university's Slate team, supervising multiple Functional Business Analysts who will support the Slate instance. This team will help to ensure the university's needs are met by evaluating and updating implemented processes, and working to onboard additional admissions processes that are added to the updated technology stack.

The Product Manager, Slate will be the manager of the Slate instance, working closely with graduate and undergraduate Enrollment Management leadership to ensure that Slate continues to be up to date and effectively meets the requirements of Northeastern's evolving enrollment processes. Additionally, the product manager will lead the implementation of any new enrollment processes that are integrated into the Slate instance. The role requires a cross-functional and high-level oversight of enhancements to existing - and new - functionality. The product manager will create new product initiatives that support the overall enrollment goals of the university and move the institution forward in achieving it's aspirations in the areas of lifelong learning, personalized educational experiences, and customized learning journeys.

Provide the minimum education, experience, and skills required to perform the job successfully.

• 7-9 years of admissions or enrollment experience with increasing responsibility
  
• 4+ years of experience working with Slate as an admissions CRM
  
• Relevant exposure to both undergraduate and graduate enrollment processes
  
• Experience with process and policy development
  
• Work experience as a Slate administrator is a plus
  
• Familiarity with agile software development methodology is a plus
  
• Ability to work and communicate with a broad group of stakeholders
  
• Team spirit and good communication abilities
  
• Good organizational skills
