Job Summary
The Assistant Manager of Ticket Operations will assist the Ticket Manager in the daily operations of the ticket office.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Assist Ticket Manager in all athletics ticket office operations, including fulfillment of single and season tickets for all ticketed events in athletics facilities to include athletic events, concerts, graduations, corporate, and other special events
  • Communicate effectively with the general public through box office hours, phone, email, social media, and webspace to provide the most up-to-date ticket information and address all inquiries.
  • Participate in sales campaigns for prospective ticket sales as needed.
  • Help utilize and maintain all ticket office technology including sales software, validation scanners, credit card machines, printers to maximize ticket office efficiency
  • Set-up and breakdown of all game day ticket sales outlets
  • Assist Manager with will call locations, scheduling and supervision of full-time, part-time, and student employees, management of all revenues and expenses related to the athletics ticket office consistent with all applicable Georgia Southern University policies and procedures.
  • Attend community events to promote upcoming athletic events
  • Help create and schedule reports based on stakeholder's needs
  • Follow all federal, divisional, and University athletics regulations, to include rules and regulations established by the Sun Belt Conference (SBC) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience
  • One (1) or more years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education
  • Master's Degree

Preferred Experience
  • Experience and proficiency with Paciolan ticketing software

Proposed Salary
$18.50 per hour
