Goodwin University is seeking an MSN-prepared candidate to fulfill the role of clinical adjunct faculty in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) masters track program in the Nursing department for the 15-week fall semester starting on September 7, 2022.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Program Director of the FNP track in the School of Nursing, the candidate is responsible for overseeing assigned students clinical experiences including:
  • Site visits and evaluations of the student, preceptor, and clinical site at least once within the semester, in-person or via Zoom
  • Overseeing students Typhon logs
  • Directly reporting any concerns from the preceptor/student/site to Program Director
  • Cultivating and maintaining professional relationships with preceptors and clinical sites.
  • Assisting with the teaching and learning activities during the emersion weekend.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in nursing, with board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a RN licensure in the state of CT.
  • At least two years’ experience working as a FNP
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Work collegially in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
