The New Mexico State University Department of Kinesiology is seeking a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track assistant/associate/full professor that will assist in achieving the department’s mission of teaching, research, and service. The faculty member must be able to provide undergraduate and graduate instruction in the areas of biomechanics and motor control and will have a responsibility in at least one other area of undergraduate or graduate instruction (i.e., neurophysiology or another related kinesiology area). As a Hispanic Serving Institution, we seek a faculty member who values diverse populations, interested in developing inclusive environments, and serves underrepresented population. The faculty member must also demonstrate a strong scholarly record in a focused line of research, be expected to pursue external funding, and be able to mentor doctoral students. In addition, the faculty member will participate in faculty governance, strategic planning, curriculum review, student outcome assessment, service, and advisement of undergraduate and graduate students.
