Job Summary

The Taatjes lab in the Biochemistry department at UC-Boulder seeks to hire a research technician for performing biochemical experiments and mammalian cell culture.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
  • Completion of biochemical experiments (e.g. protein purification), enzyme and biochemical reconstitution experiments, mammalian cell culture, computational analyses and genome editing.

What We Can Offer

The salary for this full-time appointment is $36,000- $46,000 annually.

What We Require
  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or related field.
  • Six months research experience in an academic lab.
What You Will Need
  • Familiarity with Molecular biology, PCR and SDS-PAGE.
What We Would Like You To Have
  • Previous experience with mammalian cell culture and genome editing.
