Bryn Mawr College has an opening for an Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Planning, and Assessment.
Reporting directly to the President, the Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Planning, and Assessment provides strategic leadership in the development of the Office of Institutional Research and Planning (OIRAP), leading all aspects of proactive institutional research that supports institutional planning, decision making and assessment of institutional effectiveness. The Executive Director will facilitate intentional partnerships and collaboration with key departments on campus to coordinate research and data analyses. The Executive Director will provide vision and implementation of a new data warehouse/data lake and integrate this work with the new data enterprise system. The Executive Director will provide key oversight of all internal and external data reporting, assessment of student learning and student support, and survey implementation and use.
The Executive Director will convene the college-wide Institutional Assessment Committee that includes the Director of Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment, EIR Analyst, the Director of Assessment, Learning Spaces and Special Projects, and Associate Provost for Assessment to ensure effective communication and coordination of data collection and use across campus.
The Executive Director will supervise two staff: the Director of Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment and the Enrollment and Institutional Research Analyst (30% time). Additionally, the position will coordinate the contributions of the Associate Provost of Assessment and the Director of Assessment, Learning Spaces and Special Projects to planning and assessment.
Master’s degree required with a minimum of five years’ experience with increased responsibility in a postsecondary setting. The position is a full-time exempt position.
