Position Purpose

Sweep, dust mop, spot mop, spray buff, shower scrub, burnish, and refinish all hard surface floors throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor. Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo, extract carpets throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor. Move furniture, equipment, materials, and perform other general maintenance.

Service, clean, and disinfect restrooms, classrooms, offices, and clean drinking fountains. Maintain custodial closets, work areas, and equipment in a clean and safe manner.

Remove trash and debris from building to dumpster. Set-up/strike conference rooms, meeting rooms, dining areas, and other areas, as assigned.

Clean doors, partition glass, interior windows, blinds, light fixtures, and vents.

Dust furniture, spot clean walls, ceilings, and doors/frames, as needed.

Snow removal, as required. Report to FPO anything that needs repaired or replaced. Perform additional duties, as assigned by administrative or supervising personnel. Assist floor crew personnel, as assigned.

Previous custodial experience preferred.
