Plans and designs curricula for educational programs; researches and defines educational goals, objectives, and methodologies to meet program goals. Determines formats and approaches to achieve program and budget objectives; defines needs of target populations; researches trends at the national and state level, as appropriate to the position. Coordinates activities of volunteers engaged in implementation and administration of program objectives. Manages and facilitates program training activities. Monitors and administers program/project revenues and expenses; may develop or participate in the development of funding proposals for the programs. Coordinates development of course materials, educational training materials, and/or brochures, as appropriate to the program. Purchases equipment and/or services, as necessary to ensures the success of relevant activities. Assists with grant and/or proposal writing as appropriate to the objectives and funding nature of the specific Civics Education Programs. Develops and maintains records on student and volunteer activities, materials, equipment, and supplies. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience directly related to supervising Secondary Education Programs Curriculum Development experience preferred. Managerial and administrative experience required, including budgeting Deep understanding and interest in US government and Judicial history
