The Department of Communication at Bryant University invites applications for a full time, tenure track assistant professor position in Digital Communication to help create and promote our newly established B.S in Digital Communication. The appointment for this position begins August 1, 2023. The successful candidate should be able to teach introductory courses in digital communication focusing on the real-world applications of digital media as well as more advanced, theoretical-based courses. A Ph.D. in Communication required by start of appointment. The successful candidate should be able to examine digital media from both a quantitative and qualitative perspective. Preference will be given to individuals with industry experience. Applicants for this position will be expected to work collaboratively on research and grant acquisition with diverse educational departments. Evidence of multidisciplinary research and grant-writing experience is preferred.
