Assistant Coach, Women's Basketball

Skidmore College’s Athletic, Fitness and Recreation Department invites applicants for a part-time, temporary (9 month) Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in daily practice preparation and training, coaching, recruiting prospective student athletes, scouting opponents, and other duties as assigned by the head coach. The assistant will communicate and develop a rapport with student-athletes, faculty, and alumni. The position will also include facility home game management and/or equipment room responsibilities during the academic year.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of three years collegiate basketball coaching and/or playing experience is required. Candidates must have strong organizational skills, communication and computer skills. A valid driver’s license and CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain) are required.

Anticipated start date will be September 1, 2022.

Pay Range: Commensurate with experience
