The basics of this position:

Responsible for all aspects in assisting the head coach with the District intercollegiate athletic team in the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference and the NJCAA, including but not limited to recruiting, coaching and administrative duties. Responsible for complying with policies and procedures set forth by St. Louis Community College, NJCAA, and MCCAC.

What you'll do:
  • Coordinates with head coach the Home and Away scheduling for District intercollegiate athletic team.
    Makes recommendations to the head coach of District intercollegiate athletic team regarding program facility needs.
    Coordinates with head coach to monitor the District team’s athletic operating and travel budgets; maintains record-keeping procedures.
    Coordinates with head coach to monitor athletic eligibility, including academic progress of athletes.
    Coordinates athletic recruiting and scholarship awards for District intercollegiate athletic team.
    Performs normal supervisory functions for District intercollegiate athletic team.
    Explains and enforces college policies, safety rules and regulations for District intercollegiate athletic team.
    Maintains certification for CPR; First Aid; Blood Borne Pathogens; and Sexual Harassment.
    Performs other jobs related duties as assigned.
Education, experience, and other requirements:

Must have a clean driving record and abilities to operate college vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or playing or coaching experience at club, high school, or collegiate level; Must have a clean driving record to operate college vehicle
