POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Admissions for the School of Pharmacy is responsible for execution of the annual recruitment and outreach plan of the South University-Savannah School of Pharmacy. The Director of Admissions is responsible for assisting the campuses in attaining student matriculation goals through development of a robust lead/inquiry source flow, inquiry conversion to enrollments, and enrollments to new student matriculation. The incumbent must assure that the South University philosophy is considered in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of this position: quality services to clients; development, growth, involvement, and recognition of employees; sound economic principles; and maintenance of an environment which is conducive to innovation, positive thinking and expansion.


KEY JOB ELEMENTS:

  • Collaborate with Assistant Dean of Admissions for the School of Pharmacy to establish forecasts to ensure planned new student targets are met.
  • Responsible for managing the School's CRM for communication and nurturing prospective student relationships.
  • Coordinates pharmacy enrollment activity and priorities with the campus system senior director of enrollment.
  • Responsible for local, regional and national inquiry generation and community/university outreach.
  • Execute marketing plans to support inquiry conversion and applicant lock-in.
  • Responsible for achieving conversions of inquiry to applicant; and applicant to new student standards.
  • Provide input regarding budgetary resource requirements and monitor expenses to assure budget compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with all SU policies and procedures, ethical standards, and compliance with all federal, state and accreditation requirements.
  • Serve in all aspects as an integrated member of the School of Pharmacy admissions team to assure a vibrant perpetual student recruitment environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors Degree preferably in a business or sales related discipline.
  • Minimum five years of increasingly responsible experience managing a sales effort, especially selling intangible products.
  • Experience with enrollment is preferred.
  • Proven ability to inspire, motivate and effectively serve as a member of the admissions team.
  • Ability to Travel - The individual must be able to travel locally, regionally and nationally on overnight and multiple-night trips to perform community and university partner outreach, and out of the area to the corporate office or other offsite locations for a variety of conferences and meetings.
