Job Summary
The Elmhurst Learning and Success Academy is a four year certificate program for students with disabilities. We are seeking a person to teach four ELSA math credit courses. To be a successful ELSA Adjunct, candidates should be invested in being collaborative, and possess the desire to work in higher education. Must be open to working with students with varying abilities
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Employee is subject to indoor work, protected from weather conditions.
Work Hours
On Elmhurst University Campus, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00- 9:40 and 9:50-11:35

- Math Concepts/ Financial Smarts I and Financial Smarts III (First Semester)
- Financial Smarts II and Financial Smarts IV (Second Semester)
- Plan, Organize, and deliver math instruction
- Collaborate with Director, adjunct faculty to evaluate, revise, and develop curriculum as needed for mastery of course content.
- Provide students with assessment and clear feedback regarding academic performance
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records such as attendance, grading, and achievement of student learning outcomes.
- Flexibility to work with staff regarding student/class needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to collaborate and build rapport with students.
- Open to problem-solving
- Maintain office hours
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master’s Degree Preferred
