Job Summary

Assist in general office management as needed including answering phones, covering the front desk, and assisting visitors. Show students and staff how to access tutoring and coaching services. Coordinate the learning aids and resources. Be aware of and assist in promoting department programs and events.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise the Student Success Center and student employees in the absence of the Campus Coordinator.
  • Assist the Campus Coordinator in the daily operation of the Center
  • Provide administrative support to all department staff.
  • Be aware of department programs, services, and special events.
  • Represent the department at campus events.
  • Manage front desk, assist visitors, and answer the telephone.
  • Maintain files and records, including confidential material.
  • Organize and track office supplies and reorder as necessary.
  • Participate in departmental and inter-departmental meetings and attend in-service and other job-related training.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in office technology or related field preffered.
  • Must be proficient in MS software applications including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary; strong interpersonal skills are required.
Competencies
  • Experience with Blackboard, Zoom, MS Teams, and WebEx preferred.
  • Familiarity with Starfish, Banner student systems, and Omni Update CMS preferred.
