Salary Basis: 12 month

Responsibilities:
  • erforms secretarial functions including composing and typing letters, memos.
  • Organizes, reviews, maintains and secures confidential student files and accreditation documents.
  • Serves as department receptionist by greeting incoming visitors, students, faculty; answering telephone, providing information, and referring callers to appropriate personnel with kindness and respect.
  • Processes and maintains personnel data such as leave and overtime reports, student's payroll, Electronic Personal Action Forms, and Employee Action Forms.
  • Assists in the supervision of hired work study student(s), field interns, and graduate assistants.
  • Requests, maintains and processes for payment all procurement , purchase orders, and requisitions.
  • Requests and/or maintains reservations for facility room reservations, housing and police notification for conferences/seminars/meetings held on campus.
  • Maintains inventory of office and departmental supply inventory.
  • Requests desk copies and instructional resources for all classes per semester.
  • Provides accounting assistance in the preparation and completion of budgets, records expenses and revenues, and records monthly accounts for department and club(s) sponsored within the department.
  • Requests and/or maintains travel requisitions for department faculty.
  • Maintains offices, conference areas, and reception areas for functionality and security.
  • Supports departmental student organizations in all activities, ie. Monthly meetings, special projects, financial accounting.
  • Coordinates departmental sponsored community workshops with brochure preparation; mail/email; registration; on-site management of facility; CE application and administration; and maintains documentation of all event activities.
  • Coordinates department accreditation activities with document preparation; storage; copying; compiling/mailing document; assists with travel and lodging arrangements for site visitors, etc.
  • Assists students with multiple applications which include liability insurance, graduate schools, licensure applications, and graduation applications.
  • Assigns faculty advisors to students and posts advisee lists each semester.
  • Checks mail, shops for supplies for meetings, delivers goods on or off campus as needed. A current driver's license is required.
  • Maintains general office equipment such as the copier, scanner, printer.





Qualifications:
Applicants must have at least a high school education. They must be able to communicate effectively with people in person and using technology. Experience with and efficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Publisher and other Microsoft Office products is required. A college education, secretarial experience, and experience with Banner are preferred.All applicants must have at least a high school education. Salary:
12 monthCommensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources.

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with and efficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Publisher is required. A college education, secretarial experience, and experience with Banner are preferred.
