About the Opportunity:

Mills College at Northeastern University is seeking Teaching Post Docs in the Sciences at the Oakland campus in the fall 2022 semester. Through its research, teaching, and engagement missions, the college collaborates across the university, the Northeastern network, and partners around the globe. Responsibilities:

The Departments of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Environmental Science, and Psychology seek applicants to teach courses in one or more of the following fields: General Chemistry, General Physics, General Biology, Environmental Science and Sustainability, Introductory Psychology.

Responsibilities include: developing a syllabus, assignments, assessments and course schedule to meet required learning outcomes; developing and delivering course content using the Mills College at Northeastern teaching and learning platforms and facilities; holding appropriate office hours; engaging with departmental and university part-time faculty obligations as required.

The courses will be taught in person on the Mills College at Northeastern campus in Oakland, California.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. required. Preference will be given to persons experienced in teaching large and diverse groups of students.
