The Technology and Operations Management Department at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) invites applications and nominations for one tenure-track faculty positions at the assistant professor level.

Duties and Responsibilities: The new faculty member will teach in-person undergraduate and graduate classes primarily in Supply Chain Management and E-Business such as operations management, business statistics and analytics, production management, purchasing management, quality management, transportation and logistics, project management, etc.

Required Qualifications: Candidates must have earned a Ph.D./DBA with concentration in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or closely related fields such as IE/OR, MS, Decision Science etc. from accredited institutions. ABD candidates will be considered but must have their degree completed by the start date of the appointment. Candidates should demonstrate commitment to publishing in reputable peer-reviewed journals in their areas of expertise and excellence in teaching potential.

Preferred Qualifications: Academic/industrial experiences in Business Analytics and/or Data Management and/or Information Systems are strongly preferred.

Date of Appointment: The department seeks to fill this position by Fall 2023. First consideration will be given to completed applications submitted no later than Oct. 10, 2022, and continue until the position is filled.
