The Coordinator for Marketing and Communication is responsible for enabling the Flagler College brand throughout the Division of Continuing Education. Working as part of the Colleges Marketing and Communication team, the Coordinator will oversee the development and execution of marketing plans and strategies that reflect the brand of Flagler College within Division of Continuing Education with particular focus on Lifelong Learning and Masters Programs. The Coordinator has primary oversight of all official communication within the Division of Continuing Education, and will work closely with associated stakeholders including the Office of Admissions, the TCC marketing team, outside marketing firms, and the local press.

  • Ensure all Continuing Education communications are in line with the brand of Flagler College
  • Approve and/or Create all communication and marketing material and content for the Continuing Education division in conjunction with the College Marketing & Communications team
  • Coordinating Division Marketing Budgets in conjunction with the Dean
  • Write and/or approve all press releases for Continuing Education.
  • Create a strategic communications plan to garner visibility and recognition within the market for Continuing Education offerings
  • In collaboration with the Division of Marketing of Communications, serve as a point of contact for media inquiries
  • Manage & increase social media presence
  • Strategize and work directly with stakeholders pertaining to the Division of Continuing Education
    • Oversee marketing & communication student interns
    • Incorporating Industry research analysis
  • Assisting in Administrative Responsibilities as needed
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field
  • Sales, marketing, and/or recruiting experience
  • Research and data analysis experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Strong creativity
  • Knowledge and understanding of Flagler College policies and procedures
  • Maintaining confidentiality and using good judgment in making decisions concurrent with college policy
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally (in person and by phone) and in writing (in e-mail or instant chat/messaging) with Flagler College administrative staff, faculty, prospective students, and members of their families as appropriate
  • Ability to use the Flagler College software
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and coordinate work assignments with Flagler College staff, student interns, and Alumni Ambassadors
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Communication
  • Knowledge of Marketing tools within social media platforms
  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time and occasionally walking and standing.
  • Climbing, walking, crouching, repetitive motions, and ability to communicate appropriately with students/colleagues.
