We are currently seeking to fill our Technical Support Specialist I position at the Philadelphia campus with a highly qualified and passionate individual.

Description:
The Technical Support Specialist I is responsible for providing assistance and maintenance to all computer systems and hardware to include installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software as well as fixing any issues relates to the equipment that may arise on a daily basis. Provides Tier II support to the Service Desk Agents and is responsible for handling and closing tickets within agreed upon Service Levels.
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
•Document, track and resolve end user tickets using PCOM's ticketing system
•Provide accurate detailed work notes into service desk ticketing system
•Provided competent, service-oriented support and resolve problems to end user satisfaction
•Install/repair computer hardware and software
•Prepare written documentation as required by management
•Provide technical assistance to staff, faculty and students
•Respond to telephone, E-mail, and voice mail, verbal and written service requests
•Attend and participates in ITS departmental and work unit meetings
•Comply with established policies and procedures, objectives and quality assurance
•Escalate telecommunications or network issues to the appropriate ITS teams
•Evaluate requests for user assistance and refers to proper personnel for correction
•Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops
•Work with ITS Management to ensure user-friendly solutions and services are delivered
•Assist Educational Media in the facilitation of video/web/audio conferencing as needed
•Assist with onboarding and off boarding of users
•Travel between assigned locations as necessary
•Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in an applied technology area such as Information Systems, Computer Science or Communications

Salary Range: $20.26 to $27.19
