Position Function

In collaboration with the Director of Admissions CRM and the Admissions CRM team, support the Office of Admissions by building and executing email and SMS campaigns using the CRM system in support of student recruitment, event-related communications, and internal communications; manage multiple projects simultaneously; have a working knowledge of HTML / CSS to aid in design and system troubleshooting; participate as a member of the Admissions communications team.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum Experience

One year of related job experience; computer application and system experience.

Minimum Other

Basic understanding of HTML / CSS ; strong organizational and communication skills; demonstrated ability to multi-task working with deadlines and changing environments; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Authorization to work in the US

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Education

Preferred Experience

Expert understanding of HTML / CSS, websites; experience writing, digital, and web; solid understanding of technology, demonstrating strong knowledge of CRM .

Preferred Other

Experience with the Admissions CRM (Slate) solution utilized at Ball State University. Experience in a university admissions or technology area.

Pre-Employment Screening

Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.

Duties & Responsibilities



Job Duty

Build, test, and deploy email and SMS campaigning designed to increase inquiry, application conversion, and strengthen university affinity.

Edit and adapt existing campaigns by increasing available system resources to strengthen the overall CRM strategy as communicated by the Director of Admissions CRM .

Manage and ensure that each communication contains current messaging/branding and is delivered to the proper recipients.

Collaborate with the Communications and CRM Teams to develop and deliver comprehensive campaigns; including building or uploading their associated recipient lists.

Support the maintenance, design, and creation of internal and external user portal pages.



Job Duty

Manage multiple and competing priorities to ensure timely delivery of critical projects; monitor and adhere to project production schedules, communicate routing and thoroughly with supervisors, and others about work progress.



Job Duty

Collaborate and coordinate with the Admissions Communications team and University Marketing to ensure brand adherence.



Job Duty

Provide CRM system training to admissions staff and necessary stakeholders in coordination with the CRM team.

Research and review communication analytics and data to determine impact and success of campaigns.

Maintain a current knowledge of admissions practices and procedures.
