A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) located on the Mesa, Arizona campus is pleased to announce an open Director of Clinical Education faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level in the residential Doctor of Physical Therapy program. ATSU is a fully-accredited graduate health professions institution. As the founding school of Osteopathic Medicine, ATSU is committed to the integration of body, mind and spirit. The physical therapy department offers doctoral degrees in physical therapy (entry level and post-professional), a neurological residency, an orthopedic residency, and multiple CEU courses annually. Responsibilities : The DCE will work as part of a team with a co-DCE and a Clinical Education Assistant, to ensure a high quality clinical education program for our residential Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Other responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, academic and research advising, and service to the institution, community, and profession.

Qualifications : The ideal candidate will have DPT degree, or academic doctoral degree, be a member of the APTA, and must be eligible to obtain physical therapist license in AZ. Must also have a minimum of five years of full-time post-licensure clinical practice. Two years of clinical experience must include experience as a CCCE or CI in physical therapy, or minimum of two years of experience in teaching, curriculum development and administration in a physical therapy education program. Previous DPT level teaching, demonstrated scholarship productivity, service to the community/profession, and strong administrative and organizational skills are desired. Must work and communicate well in team environment and fit well into the current compliment of faculty members. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
