Travel Supervisor

Primary Purpose of Position:
The primary purpose of the position is to serve as the campus expert on the administration of travel policies and procedures; and serve in a supervisory capacity of the University's Travel Office.

Minimum Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in accounting work; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The position requires a working knowledge of accounting principles; competency in interpreting and applying travel policies and procedures and regulations mandated by the State and the University. The position requires one to possess the ability to analyze and problem-solve; excellent customer service skills; excellent written and verbal communications skills; and proficiency in the use of a personal computer and computer software packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook; and familiarity with Cliqbooks under Travel Link, and Concur. Management preferences are strong accounting skills, analytical skills, and excellent computer skills. The position must possess at least two (2) years of experience working in a university travel office environment.
