Campus Visit Manager
Job Description Summary:
The Admission Events Manager coordinates, organizes and manages the
front desk office operations, prospective campus visits and tours,
recruitment events, and all other activities that support
undergraduate recruitment efforts. Ensures that the visit
experience is comprehensive, highlights the attributes of the
University, and welcomes all constituents including prospective
students and their families, athletic recruits, college access and
community-based organizations, high school and community college
groups, high school and independent counselors and advisors, and
Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Admission, this position
has primary oversight of all operations, processes, data collection
evaluation, general supervision of all admission events and front
desk activities to support the Office of Undergraduate Admission.
Weekend and evening hours will be required as necessary to support
recruitment and outreach during the application cycle.

- In collaboration with admission leadership, creates the
standards, expectations, and goals for every visitor’s experience
including training front desk staff and admissions ambassadors on
the process, policies, protocol, and on how to deliver exceptional
customer service; manages visitor material inventory, provides
appropriate hospitality, and ensures that the reception area is
aesthetically pleasing and promotes a professional environment at
- Manages group tour requests and logistics
- Coordinates and confirms arrangements with Office of Admissions
master calendar; provides itineraries and related information to
prospective students, parents, counselors, professors, coaches,
deans, and other campus administrators.
- Ensures sufficient ambassador coverage for daily tours and
admission events in collaboration with the Ambassador managers
- Organizes and coordinates all group visits, which may include
large groups of students.
- Provides follow-up correspondence to campus visitors through
the CRM and Outlook.
- Assists the office manager and counseling staff in arranging
special events as needed; coordinates with other campus offices,
arranges speaker, assists with event invitations, mailings, tracks
- Ensures tours and other admission events are entered and
updated in the CRM
- Maintains department confidence and safeguards operations by
keeping information confidential; adheres to all safety and
housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Oversees front desk operations.
- Assists with coordination of student ambassadors including
coordinating the scheduling, training, and assessment of the

or absences including weekends.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the
- Associate’s degree and two years of experience in a similar
position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Customer service experience required.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and
Excel and database software programs required.
- Specialized training such as business, secretarial, computer
software/word processing and spreadsheet programs preferred.
