Job Description
The Department of Political Science at the University of Chicago invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor in American Politics.  This position is part of a larger departmental hiring initiative in American Politics. We welcome applications from the entire subfield of American politics, and particularly from scholars who work in the areas of racial and ethnic politics, judicial politics, campaigns and elections, state and local politics, and/or the bureaucracy. This position will begin on or after July 1, 2023.



Candidates must have completed all requirements for the PhD degree prior to the start of the appointment.
