Washburn University's College of Arts and Sciences Music department invites applications for an adjunct faculty position specializing in Applied Horn for Fall 2022 and Spring 2023.

Required Qualifications:
  • Earned Master’s degree.
  • An effective record of collegiate-level teaching and performance.
  • Ability to recruit and retain students.
  • Demonstrated commitment to developing inclusive teaching practices that engage students from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Earned Doctorate degree or ABD.
Responsibilities:
  • Teach Applied Horn.
  • Perform in Faculty WW Quintet.
  • Perform in WU Faculty Brass Quintet.
  • Teach music courses assigned to fit successful applicant’s qualifications.
  • Recruit students and maintain public profile as a performer and teacher.
