The Truck Driver/Laborer position will perform a variety of
functions in the Material Handling area including moving furniture
and equipment, setting up for events, and collecting and disposing
of trash and excess material. Reports to Maintenance Manager. This
position will operate the material handling van, dump truck,
forklift, and other College vehicles; coordinate with customers’
onsite concerning furniture and equipment moves and event setups;
and reads and interpret instructions contained in property
dispositions, work orders, and job tickets.
Graduation from high school or GED
equivalency and six months experience in moving furniture,
equipment, and loading equipment on moving vans are required. A
current valid drivers license, with a safe driving record is
required. Demonstrated ability to lift 75 pounds from floor to the
waist and move load to a new location within ten feet is required.

be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of

SALARY RANGE: $21,450.00.00 ($11.00/hour)
