Description
Works closely with the head coach on all aspects of the program. Primary responsibility is the coaching of skills, techniques and tactics. Also mentors student-athletes and responsible for recruitment of prospective student-athletes.

Offer is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.

Assists head coach in all aspects of the women's tennis program. 
Primary duty is to coach tennis skills, techniques and tactics. 
Recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
Assist head coach with administration of tennis program. 
May teach as an Instructor in the Physical Education program. 
Assist as needed with winter Event Management. 
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Physical Demands
Significant amount of time demonstrating tennis skills on court as well as playing tennis with student-athletes.
This is considered a full time benefits eligible, exempt position. The starting salary range for the position is $37,400- $45,900 per year.

Requirements
Knowledge of tennis skills and ability to effectively communicate these to student-athletes. 
Applicants must possess proven, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse community of faculty, staff, students and prospective students and their families. 
Working knowledge of NESCAC and NCAA rules and an understanding of the philosophy behind them. 
Administrative skills such as organization and prioritization. 
Current CPR, AED and First Aid certification must be maintained.
Demonstrated effectiveness in coaching tennis is required. Coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
