The EMSS Marketing and Communications Coordinator provides
strategic and creative marketing and communications leadership for
all aspects of undergraduate enrollment management. Enrollment
Management and Student Success comprises the offices of financial
aid, registrar, undergraduate admissions, advising and new student
programs. Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management
and Student Success, the coordinator leads and oversees a
comprehensive marketing program encompassing the targeted outreach
of all the functional units of EMSS. As a member of the EMSS team,
the coordinator provides strategic communication direction to the
VP and other senior leaders and assistance with media
A bachelor's degree is required
Two years of professional experience directly related to specific
duties and responsibilities is required.
A degree in marketing, mass communications, public relations or a
closely related field is preferred
Four years of professional experience is preferred
Experience in higher education is preferred
Salary range is from $40,000 to $45.000
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in the use of e-mail,
digital calendars, project management software and the internet as
a research tool.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to shoot photos and videos for use on social
- Proven knowledge of an experience using Photoshop, Adobe
Creative Suite, specifically inDesign, Photoshop and
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills and
experience writing for multiple mediums.
- Depth of experience in multi-platform message development, data
analysis, and strategic marketing and communications
- Experience in leveraging new technologies to maximize student
- Proven commitment to the success in working with various
constituencies (preferable both domestic and international) to
support an equitable and inclusive campus environment.
