Position Details

Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
This is a temporary appointment for the 2022 – 2023 academic year only. The position will not be available after May 2023. Full time teaching of undergraduate courses in the School of Teaching and Learning (12 credit hours each semester). Duties include preparing lectures, assignments, examinations, assign and grade homework, and other class-related materials for both face-to-face and online classes. Hold office hours and provide assistance to students as needed. Take part in departmental administrative activities as directed by the department chair. Participate in other academic and professional engagement activities consistent with the department’s mission. Courses taught include, but are not limited to, curriculum and assessment, math methods, and the supervision of students in single semester teaching or Year Long Residency Duties include preparing lectures, assignments, examinations, assign and grade homework, and other class-related materials for both face-to-face and online classes. Participate in other academic and professional engagement activities consistent with the department’s mission. Educational Requirements for the Position
Masters in Education or closely related field. Texas Principal certification required. Experience Required for the Position
