Reporting to the Director of Faculty Actions, The Manager of Faculty Actions is responsible for overseeing administrative aspects of full-time faculty actions at MET, also under the supervision of the Associate Dean, and the Dean of MET. The core responsibilities include coordinating full-time faculty searches and part-time faculty recruitment; full-time faculty on boarding; assistance with faculty actions processes including merit review cycles, reappointments, and promotions; managing faculty data in systems including PowerBI, OnBase, Sharepoint, and the MET website; and coordinating faculty-related events including council meetings, author receptions, and celebrations. The Manager of Faculty Actions manages and analyzes faculty support including travel, TA and graduate assistant approvals, and supervises the processing of the TA and GA payroll requests. They are responsible for providing detailed, in-depth analytic reporting on faculty data like scholarly publication trends, evaluations, and grants. The Manager of Faculty Actions will also support projects on academic initiatives as needed.

- Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of related experience required, Master's degree strongly preferred
- MS Office proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for advanced projects with internal and external units
- Outstanding attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- The ability to work independently and lead a team
- The ability to create positive relationships and work with colleagues, faculty, and students from diverse backgrounds
