Job Summary:

This position will manage the Badger Market in the Medical Sciences Building. Duties includes hiring and scheduling of staff, ordering food beverages and supplies, monitoring budget and providing customer sales and service according to quality food, sanitation, production and services standards.

Responsibilities:

Manages the daily operations and/or staff of a retail facility, ensuring a high level of customer service to attract and retain customers.
  • 30% Supervises, trains, and/or directs daily operations of staff and a retail facility to adhere to established standards
  • 30% Operates and monitors cash handling equipment and related functions; and performs routine financial management activities
  • 30% Audits and maintains retail inventory and completes orders for new products when necessary
  • 10% Provides, monitors, and evaluates customer service of retail staff and engages guests by providing information and resolving customer issues and concerns

Education:

Preferred
Associate's Degree
or 3 years of experience.

Qualifications:

Preferred experience in: cash handling, excellent customer service, food service and barista experience, manage and scheduling of part time staff, basic computer and product ordering experience.

Work Schedule:

Primaily Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm with a 30 minute lunch break. This position is required to work occasional weekends, holidays and special events.

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
