Primary Purpose of Position:
Coordinate assessment and strategic planning activities for the College and teach courses as needed.

Minimum Education/Experience:
Qualified candidates for this position must have:
• PhD in Social and Behavioral Science Education or related discipline with a documented focus on pedagogy and assessment
• Minimum of 4 years of classroom teaching experience ( higher education) to include both traditional and online delivery;
• 4 years experience in Higher Education (Assessment, Program Evaluation, and Supervision);
• Knowledge of University data systems (Task Stream, Blackboard, Canvas SharePoint; Blackboard Analytics; Banner; Folio Tech; Digital Measures) definitions, and procedures.
• Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The required knowledge, skills and expertise:
• On-going assessment, evaluation, and program improvement
• Curriculum and Instruction
• Quantitative and qualitative data analysis
• Providing training and workshops on assessment to faculty, students and staff including assistance in the identification of program outcomes, student learning outcomes, analyses of assessment results, and identification of strategies to improve outcomes (student retention, graduation);
• Analysis and management of program performance and assessment data for University assessment processes and state/ national accreditation (SACSCOC, NCATE/CAEP, CSWE, NASPE, NAEYC, CAATE, etc.);
• Assessing and evaluating teacher education program standards;
• Working knowledge of Quality Matters on-line certifications;
• Documenting programmatic assessment results and supporting documentation in Task Stream;
• Qualified to teach courses in Research, Assessment and Adult Education.
