Position Purpose
To lead the policy output of the lab and to liaise with community partners to develop research partnerships. To oversee all media engagement and our online presence. To prepare citizen-accessible white papers of academic work. To develop, maintain and expand practitioner networks. To coordinate engagement between research staff and practitioners. To translate research into policy impact. To keep the lab informed on trends in the broader polarization research space.

This position runs policy and communications for the lab.
Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp
Bachelors plus 1-2 year(s) of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science or related field.
- Experience working in an academic or research setting, training in modern research methods, and familiarity with causal inference.
- Experience working with non-profits and community organization.
- Strongly motivated and self-directed.
- Understanding research methods and statistics.
- Strong writing skills.
Education
- MA or PhD
- Experience with academic publications.
