Dual Enrollment Coordinator



Job Summary:

The Dual Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for coordinating services provided to high schools participating in dual enrollment programs, including admission, registration, information sharing, and collaborating on class schedules. The coordinator will also assist students, instructors, and administrators with the dual enrollment processes. The coordinator, reporting to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, will serve as CSU liaison with the local school systems in fulfilling the dual enrollment processes.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates all aspects of the dual enrollment program, including the collection of admissions requirements, registration, payment information; coordinating onsite registration at high schools; providing informational presentations; articulating programs and identifying course offerings, coordinating class schedules; working collaboratively with Office of Admissions and appropriate academic colleges and departments.
  • Serves as liaison to local school systems; coordinates and participates in the Baltimore Dual Enrollment Consortium to ensure maximization of services.
  • Prepares dual enrollment and programs of study agreements; creates billing reports for participating school districts for tuition fees and coordinates payment process; verifies and monitors student enrollment and follows up to ensure accuracy of registrations and final grades are submitted; makes recommendations to improve processes, documents, and guidelines as needed.
  • Maintains and tracks information, compiles reports, maintains dual enrollment records; prepares enrollment reports and maintains point of contact information to school districts.
  • Conducts training for dual enrollment instructors; assists in the coordination of Professional and development activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
Experience:
  • Two years of teaching experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of university admissions processes and policies.
  • Knowledge of current technologies to include Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of dual enrollment programs.
  • Skill in gathering and analyzing statistical data and generating reports.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and to relate to others in a professional, helpful manner.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, including staff, faculty, students, parents, and the public.
