The Executive Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning is a collaborative leader who will work in conjunction with the rotating faculty co-directors to develop and grow the Center in its mission to be the first contact point for all faculty for all activities related to teaching and learning. Vision and creativity are a must, as are strong organizational skills. The successful candidate will have both teaching experience in higher education as well as a passion for supporting faculty with course design and best practices in pedagogy. In addition to supervisory and communication responsibilities, the ideal candidate will have experience with budgeting, event management, and outreach to all members of the campus community as well as the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education for the state of Montana. The Center for Teaching and Learning was established at MSU Billings in 2021, and the Executive Director will have the opportunity to develop a vision for the direction of the nascent Center.
