We are now inviting applications for the following post in the School of Education and Languages:

Teaching Assistant (English Language) (Ref.: 21001GQ)


Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:

  • organizing and conducting language activities and tutorials;
  • providing face-to-face and/or online language teaching/support; and
  • performing any other duties assigned by the Dean of E&L or his/her delegate.


Requirements

Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • a recognized bachelor’s degree with native-speaker/near native-speaker competence in English;
  • ability to work independently;
  • good communication skills; and
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office, and some knowledge of web design.


Compensation Package

Competitive compensation package including basic salary, end-of-contract gratuity and discretionary incentive (if any) will be offered to the right candidate.  Fringe benefits such as generous annual leave, staff learning and development sponsorship, medical & dental benefits and life insurance coverage will also be provided.
