  • The Women's Studies Department at Georgian Court University is seeking adjunct instructors at the Lakewood campus for Fall 2022.

  • Prepare and follow a course syllabus for an introductory survey course in the discipline according to university policies
  • Effectively communicate course goals, objectives, and expected behaviors to students
  • Provide excellent instruction face-to-face in Ocean County, New Jersey location
  • Maintain consistent availability for student mentoring
  • Maintain and submit all records of student progress according to university deadlines
  • Comply with university training as necessary
  • Course and program assessment activities; attendance at program meetings
  • Evidence of expertise and/or appropriate coursework in the field.
  • Experience with course learning platforms such as Blackboard preferred.
  • Strong course evaluations and/or strong recommendations from supervisors.
  • Willingness to follow the department's writing course syllabi and assessment protocol
  • Willingness to complete Blackboard training program before classes begin.
**Effective October 1, 2021, proof of vaccination or submission of weekly COVID-19 tests are required for all Georgian Court employees. A copy of your CDC vaccination card should be shared with the Office of Human Resources before your first day of employment. All information will be kept confidential**
