Job Summary
This position provides support to the College Office. The incumbent serves as one of the resources for information regarding College policy and practice for faculty, students, and staff. This position maintains College files and records; provides continuity in policy and procedures; and processes all assignments, meets deadlines, and processes paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
  • Understand, disseminate, and implement, procedures, policies, and practices.
  • Provide support, guidance and act as liaison to students, faculty, and staff in the College.
  • Coordinating events, activities, and special projects.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Ability to perform clerical work involving judgement, accuracy, and speed with attention to detail. Working knowledge of a variety of office methods and procedures. Ability to organize responsibilities to achieve specific results. Ability to monitor and track budgets. Collect, track, and log various projects with specific deadlines. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with a variety of people - faculty, staff, students, and vendors. Working knowledge of Word PowerPoint, e-mail, internet, web pages, and Windows.

Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
Education and Experience
  • Equivalent to four years of administrative support experience required.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Academic Department Experience preferred.

    Compensation
    The salary range for this classification is $3,276 to $5,148 per month.
    Benefits

    Time Base
    Full-time temporary position to June 30, 2023 with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
