The University of Southern Indiana’s Management and Information Sciences Department, housed in the Romain College of Business, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems to begin Spring or Fall 2023. This position will teach Information Sciences (IS) courses including Cyber Security and other IS core courses. Assistant Professors are expected to maintain an active program of scholarship leading to publications in quality peer-reviewed journals and engage in university service. Qualified candidates must have a doctoral degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information System (MIS), or a similarly related field. ABD considered at the rank of Instructor if doctoral degree is not conferred by hire date.
The Department of Management and Information Sciences is home to nine Computer Science and Computer Information Systems faculty members and approximately 300 undergraduate students who, together, span a range of experience and research areas in Computer Science and Computer Information Systems. The Department of Management and Information Sciences is uniquely situated to offer students exposure to broad computing issues as well as practical business practices.
