The successful candidate will isolate target-specific shark nanobodies (VNARs) and work with collaborators at UMBs Institute of Human Virology, George Washington University, and New York University to characterize the binding of the isolated nanobodies and assess their utility as capture/detection reagents in a novel microbead-based diagnostic platform.
For immediate consideration, please send a cover letter (max 2 pages) describing your research experience and interests, a CV containing names and contact information for three referees, and an expected start date to hdooley@som.umaryland.edu
