About the Opportunity

About the Position

The College of Science (COS) seeks to hire a Digital Campaign and Media Manager to join the Marketing & Communications team within the Office of the Dean. The goal of this position is to build brand awareness for COS and drive interest for programs within the College.

Responsibilities

- Developing and launching multi-channel marketing campaigns with the goal of driving awareness and engagement of the COS brand and mission among our target audiences.

- Developing and continually improving the College website to optimize information and content and to increase traffic and engagement.

- Managing the COS digital platforms including the College website (with support from team), social media channels, and email marketing.

- Creating original social media content and lead, manage and edit contributions from other members of the Marketing & Communications team.

- Creating, in partnership with the Director of Marketing & Communications, an editorial content calendar designed to maximize impact to internal and external College audiences.

- Providing analytics from digital platforms and campaigns in order to inform strategy for future outreach, editorial content and ongoing communications from the College.

- Partnering with the Director of Marketing & Communications to effectively support enrollment and recruitment efforts within the College as they pertain to digital platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. At least five years of experience in communications, marketing, and/or related field required. Strong working knowledge of content management systems, social media platform management, email marketing platforms, key engagement and performance metrics including Google Analytics, and search engine optimization required. Demonstrated ability to create and manage original short form content across appropriate platforms for maximum impact. Strong project management, problem solving, and organizational skills required. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines is necessary. Experience in HTML, marketing automation and customer relationship management systems, and adobe creative suite a plus.
