Purpose of Position
This position plays a key role in the technical configuration, testing, security, training, support and maintenance of the University’s enterprise management system, working closely with senior system analysts and functional areas to identify, develop, test and document appropriate solutions and operating procedures. Supports standards and best practices for SAP systems that fall within assigned area. Works closely in understanding the business areas, of the University’s processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications. Primary Responsibilities
Supports functional areas and processes including, but not limited to, the following: Human Resources area in resolving system related issues, system configuration and production support (security requests, technical support, knowledge transfer). Secondary support for functional area processes (benefits enrollment, compensation management, personnel administration, organizational management). Works closely with the functional areas with an understanding of the University’s processes and the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications. Testing support for projects and support pack/enhancement pack implementations. Possibility of a flexible/hybrid work arrangement. Competitive salary range of $54,834 – $65,072 dependent on the candidate’s experience. Qualifications
No specific major is required. A degree in business or technology field would be preferred. Requires demonstrated understanding of business processes and operational issues related to the department(s) and a high level of competency with relevant business applications (e.g. human resource records systems. Also requires demonstrated proficiency/experience with testing concepts, integration of testing with business processes, and common computing tools and applications.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. This position will work collaboratively with multiple teams, and will also create and organize written materials.
